Governor Harry Hines Woodring

Harry Hines Woodring was the 25th governor of Kansas and was a Secretary of War in President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Cabinet. He was the United States Assistant Secretary of War from 1933 to 1936.

Born: May 31, 1890, Elk City, Kansas.

Died: September 9, 1967, Topeka, Kansas.

Democratic banker from Neodesha.

He was also the 53 Secretary of War, during FDR's Administration (September 25, 1936 – June 20, 1940)
